THE PROJECT
A full-scope commercial joinery package spanning eleven distinct functional zones across a Beard workplace, delivered in thirty days. The project covered the lunchroom kitchen and dining tables, two breakout kitchenettes, office and directors’ spaces, administration zones, plan benches, utility joinery, ceiling gardens, vertical gardens, column cladding, toilet partitions, and vanity areas.
THE CHALLENGE
The one-month timeframe was fixed. The quality bar was not negotiable. The client required a functional, visually cohesive workplace across multiple operational zones, from executive to shared amenity, with a professional aesthetic that supported both focused work and daily collaboration. The brief demanded rapid coordination across a large scope without gaps in either design consistency or build quality.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
Caesarstone Urban, Polytec Notaio Walnut Woodmatt, and Classic White Matt formed a palette that reads professional without feeling cold, warm enough to support daily occupation, resolved enough to reinforce the organisation’s identity. Kethy Laeken handles provided a consistent hardware language across all zones.
Steel-frame ceiling gardens were integrated with Hafele locks and built-in pigeonholes in the breakout and administration zones, functional elements that read as design features, contributing to the character of the workspace rather than simply occupying floor space. Column cladding transformed the building’s structural elements into part of the interior composition, removing visual interruption from the open-plan areas. Toilet partitions and vanity areas were detailed to the same standard as the public-facing spaces, maintaining finish quality throughout the full building.
THE OUTCOME
The Beard project demonstrates Joinery Haus CBR’s commercial capability in its most concentrated form: the ability to absorb a complex, multi-zone brief, coordinate across a full building, and deliver precision joinery within a thirty-day programme, without a single compromise on finish or design coherence.
